CONTRIBUTING TO THE MELANOMA EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The Melanoma Education Foundation is a 501(c ) (3) non-profit organization. Contributions are deductible from Federal income taxes to the maximum extent consistent with IRS regulations and individual taxpayer cicumstances.
Your financial support provides life-saving services. Contributions are used for services only; MEF has no administrative or fundraising salaries. There are several ways to contribute.

Contributions in lieu of special occasion gifts
If you are planning a wedding or other celebration and would like your guests to contribute to a life-saving charity in lieu of gifts please consider designating the Melanoma Education Foundation.
Children who ask their friends to contribute in lieu of birthday gifts will receive certificates of appreciation and personal thank you letters from the president of MEF.
Nenny Necklaces

In memory of Jennifer Linscott Tietgen (Aunt Nen), who died of melanoma at age 27 in 2002, her 6 year old niece, Camier Hall, makes colorful necklaces and sells them to support education and research. Necklaces may be ordered online at www.nennysnecklaces.org.
Downtown Michael Brown "With All My Heart" CD (Released October, 2008)

All original eclectic blend of music from Pop-rock to Jazz-funk by renowned saxophonist Michael Brown.
Punctuated by a ballad, dedicated to melanoma awareness and the memory of the composer/artist's wife.
Part of the proceeds from sales of the CD go to the Melanoma Education Foundation.

Inaugural Melanoma Education Foundation 5 mile race and 3 mile walk (11 am, September 21, 2008)

The first annual MEF race and walk was held at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA at 11 am on Sunday, September 21. The race and walk drew over 230 registered participants. Thanks to our race dirctor, Jan Danowski, our sponsors, volunteers, and all runners, walkers, and other supporters for making the event a resounding success!
